The Hot Metal construction of the MX-1000 is created by plasma welding a thin, hot, ES230 maraging steel face to a high tech stainless steel body. This exotic construction delivers COR numbers that reach the legal limit, which results in incredible distance for your iron shots. Moreover, Hollow Technology construction with internal extreme MOI weighting makes the MX-1000 irons super forgiving. Another benefit of the Hollow Technology construction is the super low and deep CG, which delivers an easy, high and straight ball flight. The MX-1000 sole was designed to include a rolled leading edge and aggressively beveled trailing edge to greatly reduce digging and deliver solid shot making ability from all types of lies. The MX-1000 with Hot Metal technology is the longest and straightest iron Mizuno has ever developed, and is sure to take your game to a new level. The stock shaft is the True Temper GS95.

The HOT METAL face is teamed with a hollow construction and internal weighting -encouraging strikes from a wide area of the face to hold their line with minimal distance loss. The hollow construction also allows weight to be engineered deep within the head for a naturally high trajectory – enabling the use of stronger lofts for even greater distance.

·Aggressively bevelled lead and trailing edges effectively narrow the MX-1000’s substantial soleplate, for clean turf interaction and use from a variety of lies.
